Back to Work Records is an indie pop-rock record label based in Clifton, New Jersey. Established in 2006, the label is devoted to releasing music composed of strong melodies, crisp vocal harmonies, interesting arrangements, and quirky lyrics. Our artists are inspired by the music of the Beatles and other 1960s British and American pop and rock groups, as well as other forbearers of the pop music genre from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, such as Big Star, the Cars, Elvis Costello, Marshall Crenshaw, and Weezer.
Back to Work Records is a proud proponent of free music downloads, as evidenced by our Virtual Vinyl series. However, we also believe in financially supporting our artists, thus we offer environmentally friendly packaged compact discs for inexpensive prices via our website, iTunes, CD Baby, and more.

Will you sign my band?
We’d love to. Unfortunately, we probably don’t have the resources that you think we do. We’re merely a fledgling label. However, if we truly like your music, we can certainly work out an affiliation of some sort.
