Review Roundup

Airplane Noise’s “Getting Down” has been making the rounds the past week or so. It was recently reviewed at Music Industry Earthquake and Stereo Killer. Joe Pow at Music Industry Earthquake had some very nice things to say about the record. “Scumbucket” at Stereo Killer, on the other hand, didn’t really like it. But…

1) His user name, after all, is “Scumbucket.”

2) Some of his favorite bands are Awaken Demons, Beneath the Massacre, Choose Your Weapon, Deathblow, A Different Breed of Killer, Embraced By Hatred, Fight Like Hell, Knives Exchanging Hands, Modern Life is War, The Taste of Blood, and Through The Eyes of the Dead.

3) His band, The Ghost Inside, sounds like this.

Suffice it to say, I don’t think “Scumbucket” is truly the band’s core audience.

A note about the EP was also featured on PowerPop Overdose, while “I Will Always Win” was included on Beat the Indie Drum’s Special Monday Morning Mixtape.

Thanks again to everyone for their support. Even you, “Scumbag.” Um, I mean, “Scumbucket.”
